Newchurch and the Desecration of Statutes

By Patricius Anthony

Desecrated Statue

Eamon Duffy's The Stripping of the Altars: Traditional Religion in England 1400-1580 accurately chronicled the desecration of Church relics, works of art, and paintings that took place during the reign of terror which the English Crown conducted to eradicate Roman Catholicism from the country. In particular, the English "terrorists" took special vengeance on references to the papacy or to individual popes. These wanton acts, coupled with the persecution and murder of priests and religious throughout the period, has never been "officially" recanted by British authorities, yet the Conciliar Church continues to seek some sort of rapprochement with the Anglican sect.

Unfortunately, Duffy's follow-up on the papacy, entitled, Saints & Sinners: A History of the Popes, clearly reflected a Novus Ordo bias that, no doubt, stemmed from the author's "friendship" with the then "Clown Pope," John-Paul II-Wojtyla the Unblessed. Duffy's treatment of Pope St. Pius X's courageous assault on Modernism typifies what currently passes for Newchurch scholarship, which condemns or ignores any figure or episode of the Church's past that is not in line with the "spirit of Vatican II." JPII-Wojtyla and his paedophile-enabler successor, Benedict-Ratzinger, are adherents of Modernism. Duffy's castigation of St. Pius X, the only real pope to have been canonized in the past 400 years, was, at least, an indirect defense of the Koran-kissing Wojtyla.

Recently, Newchurch has followed in the path of the English vandals of the 16th century -- which is, of course, natural since the Conciliar religion is based largely on the Anglican model-- as they have desecrated none other than a statute of St. Pius X. The incident took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the Minor Basilica of San Jose de Flores. On May 1, 2011, the large statute of St. Pius X was "re-dedicated" with the approval and "blessing" of the Apostolic (Sic) Nuncio in Argentina, Newarchbishop Adriano Bernadini, as the face of St. Pius X was "recast" into the image of the Unblessed JPII-Wojtyla. In typical Novus Ordo tackiness, the rest of the statute remained untouched. Since minor basilicas are under the direct control of the Newpopes, this despicable action had to have Benedict-Ratzinger's approval, at least tacitly.

One would think that since this atrocity took place in the same city where the Society of St. Pius X has one of its seminaries, Seminario Nuestra Senora Corredentora, and given that it was a statute of the Saint by which the Society's heroic founder, Archbishop Lefebvre, chose to name his traditional organization, there would be some type of protest or reaction. Instead, only silence.

Such pusillanimity is to be expected under the neo-SSPX and the (mis) guidance of its Superior General, Bernie Fellay. Any such criticism would, no doubt, damage his "negotiations" (in other words, sellout) to Newrome, which, as recent reports have indicated, are again back on track. Despite the "holocaust" that Newchurch continues to inflict on the young and innocent, Fellay has said little. Even after his buddy, Benedict-Ratzinger, was revealed knowingly to have shielded a paedophile-presbyter while he was Newchurch Archbishop, Bernie continues to negotiate.

Granted, the desecration of a statute of a legitimate SaintPope is not the worst atrocity that the Novus Ordo has ever committed. However, it is a further demonstration (as if more were needed) that Newchurch cannot be reformed; the Modernist revolution has gone on too long. The question that remains is why Fellay's Neo-SSPX, Motarians, and the rest of the pseudo-traditionalist crowd continue to treat the Conciliar Church as legitimate? Why do they still refer to Benedict-Ratzinger as "Holy Father" while this cretin has done next to nothing to end the child holocaust that Newchurch is still engaged in?

Besides the latest atrocity, traditional Catholics must, in charity, seek Newchurch's destruction because it is leading souls astray. It no longer possesses the means to provide the Sanctifying Grace necessary for the salvation of souls. It is, therefore, no different from any Protestant sect. One cannot find God in its temples or through its invalid sacraments. Even its supreme head is illegitimate since he was not consecrated under the traditional rite and thus cannot be bishop of Rome. Trying to find God in the Novus Ordo is like St. Mary Magdalen's quest to seek Christ in the sepulcher on Easter morning:

And looking, they saw the stone rolled back. For it was very great. And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed with a white robe, and they were astonished. He saith to them: Be not affrighted; you seek Jesus, of Nazareth, Who was crucified: He is risen, He is not here: behold the place where they laid Him, as He told you" (Mark 16:4-7).

The Novus Ordo is like the lifeless sepulcher from which the Divine Savior arose and which He left behind on that glorious Easter morning. While Newchurch may defile statutes of worthy Saints and attempt to replace them with images of its own "holy men," Newchurch is no longer the institution which Christ graciously established for the salvation of souls. For those who seek eternal bliss, the Novus Ordo needs to be abandoned and then crushed, as Christ triumphed over death and Satan.
